Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your office?

My office is located in the Saline Memorial Medical Complex, adjacent to Saline Memorial Hospital. The hospital is just off Exit 117 via I-30 and is located in Benton. I am in Office Building A, the building directly attached to the hospital. The building is marked clearly on the outside.

Once you enter Building A, take the elevator to the third floor. As you exit the elevator, turn left and I am in the second office to your left, Suite 302. My office is listed on the directory on the ground level of the building and on the third floor directory as well. My name is on the door. Please enter the office and take a seat in my small waiting room.

Do you take insurances?

I take Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arkansas, Ambetter and Medicare. I also work with private-pay clients.

What are your hours?

I typically work Mondays through Thursdays from 11 am to 6 PM. If necessary, I can schedule a special appointment time for emergencies.

What will the first session be like?

If you refer to the About Page, you should get a pretty good idea of our first session.

How long is each session?

The first session may take as long as 1 hour and 15 minutes. After that, sessions run for 60 minutes.

Will I have to stay in therapy a long time?

No. On average, I work with clients for 6 to 8 sessions. There are some folks I see once a month after having established a relationship and others who may check in once every 6 months or a year if there are particular life stressors they want to review. The schedule is really up to you. We will work together for as short or as long a time as you feel you are benefitting from our sessions.

Do you have a couch?

I do, but I also have two chairs. You can choose wherever you’d like to sit to be most comfortable.
